Description:The Senior Sales Manager will be a full time position with a base salary and variable compensation structure. This position will be responsible for building and executing a sales pipeline in the Americas. This position will work closely with the executive leadership and field sales staff to identify, prioritize and capture solutions business around the existing product suite.
The Senior Sales Manager is expected to:Be the tactical point for following up with and qualifying leads that are captured through all of the following methods: direct sales & marketing initiatives, existing business, and technology partners.Responsible for the developing and delivering solution sales presentations and proposals for the entire suite of products (Supply Chain and In-Store) for both Pilots and Roll-outs.Develop and present sales proposals and be responsible for leading solution sales pricing meetings for all accounts under his/her responsibility.Developing sales forecast for areas of responsibility.
Where a bundled offering is created, work closely with the sales staff to craft a win-win proposal strategy for the company and client.Provide competitive and product offering feedback to the marketing and product management teams.
Required experience and knowledge:Bachelor’s Degree in Business or MarketingMinimum of 5 years of experience in software solution sales in retail sector. Selling solutions that included: customer interaction with solution, retailer system integration, technology deployments that had footprint on-site and in the cloud, data mining and business intelligence.Understanding of enterprise software market and customer buying patterns of retailers and brand owners.Proven track record in identifying and closing business in new and emerging retail software solution space.Thorough understanding of international retail models including supply chain and retail store operations.Internal and external team managementProficient in developing and delivering senior executive presentations that include analysis, value propositions and execution strategyManage small and large customer profilesHands on sales executive. From cold calling to industry event presentations to delivering pipeline reviews to creating professional solution proposals for clients.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsGood technical background in enterprise, mobile and web software
Reports to: CTO/SVP
Salary: $110K base plus commission
