Job Description

Description:POSITION
SUMMARY:

Serve as the primary technical sales resource for the
marketing and sales departments. Responsible for in depth technical sales knowledge
of the company’s products. Able to work directly with the customers on
technical matters. Serves as liaison between the sales, marketing and
engineering departments. The Sales/Application Engineer must be able to
articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical
users. Must be able to identify all technical issues of assigned accounts to
assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
Must be able to establish and maintain strong customer relationships throughout
the sales cycles

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with strategic sales
and marketing efforts
Represent the product to
customers and at field events such as trade shows, conferences, seminars, etc.
Development and deliver
product demonstrations
Respond to functional
and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
Assist in high profile
demonstrations and installations of products
Develop and deliver
technical training and support to sales staff and key customers
Assist with training 
Convey customer
requirements to the engineering department
Travel domestically and
internationally 
Project management
Develop new business (House Accounts, Gov’t Business,
etc.)
Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:













Bachelor's Degree                             
Minimum
of 5 years business development or technical sales experience
