Job Description

Our client is searching for an RN with experience in medical software sales to join their growing team. As a remote position with 60-75% travel, this individual will need to have a drive to succeed and demonstrate value to prospective clients. The role focuses primarily on sales and pre-sales activities by providing details and comprehensive clinical support including in-depth demonstrations of the software solution as well as consulting and recommendations related to clinical workflows. This role reports to the Clinical Sales Specialist Director, and as directed, the role will be focused on, but not exclusively limited to, the activities outlined below. Responsibilities:
• Create a clear strategy to win prospects.
• Participates in presentations and demonstrations to customers and prospects of the products after thorough research of client needs. The Sales Specialist will be expected to present to Physicians, Administrators, Clinical Staff and C-Level Executives.
• Participate in tradeshows and product fairs.
• Provide initial and ongoing training to non-clinical sales specialists including product features, presentation skills, workflow and demonstrations.
• Possess the ability and train non-clinical sales specialists to demonstrate the solution independently at a high level.
• Provide consulting services to prospective customers at sales executive request that would include organizing, interviewing, preparing, and presenting a clinical, workflow and operational recommendations.
• Act as subject matter expert in clinical workflows and operation questions as they arise during the sales process.
• Maintains industry knowledge and issues relating to changes in healthcare and technology.
• Collect, prioritize and deliver to product management, customer enhancements and issues lists from data collected during pre-sales and sales activities.Required Experience:
• Maintains license as a Registered nurse in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 3+ years clinical experience in a clinical setting.
• 3+ years of experience in clinical software sales positions.
• Ability to travel 60%-75% required to meet the expectations of the position.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to conduct effective presentations.
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
• Ability to motivate, influence, guide and direct team members; gains commitments from others.
• Possesses basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
