Our client is looking for a Product Owner with clinical experience to work with key stakeholders in identifying product needs and requirements. The Product Owner is primarily responsible for managing an effective product through the creation of user stories that support the product and organizational objectives. The Product Owner will have a strong business acumen & clinical understanding to ensure the business needs of the client are met.
Key Responsibilities
•Gathers product requirements from clinical stakeholders
•Advises Technical writers of new product specifications and ensures that documentation is clinically accurate and reflected in product enhancements.
•Documents workflows and wireframes that will be used to support UI/UX design and development.
•Writes user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria.
•Translates the Director of Product Management’s roadmap initiatives into clearly defined feature sets.
•Assists Scrum Master in scrum meetings and reviews.
•Assists with the launch planning process to develop respective documentation and/or communication.
Technical Skills & Experience
•Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required.
•3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner.
•3-5 years of experience working in an Agile Software Development environment.
•1-3 years’ experience working in healthcare IT.
•Familiar with both back end and front end development.
•Experienced in assisting Scrum Master with scrum meetings and sprint reviews.
•Possesses basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.

•Must have ability to work in a fast-paced IT environment with medium to large scale projects.

•Strong organization, documentation, change management and project management skills.
•Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.
•Maintains confidential information including proprietary information.
