Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance
Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot,
repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety,
predictive and productive maintenance systems
and processes to support the achievement of the site's business goals.

Qualifications
and Skills;
Proven maintenance experience.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Related degree from a technical school.
Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to
remove and replace defective parts.
Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts
catalogs as necessary.
Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws,
drills, and wrenches.
Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic
testing devices.
Experience performing routine maintenance.
Strong organizational and follow up skills.
Eye for detail.
Professional presentation and attitude.
Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
Strong time management skills
 
Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance duties on building and machines.
Be able to perform preventative maintenance on the machines.
Assists in servicing and replacing minor plumbing fixtures.
Performs minor electrical work not requiring a licensed
electrician.
Assists in minor carpentry and repair work.
Maintain machinery, equipment, and tools by cleaning,
lubricating, greasing, and/or oiling to ensure optimum working order.
Performs related duties as required.
Follow Plant specified job specification and task list.
Performs preventive maintenance and makes repairs to
equipment according to instructions such as replacing belts on motors, changing
filters, bearings, etc.
Maintains and makes routine repairs to electrically powered
equipment and appliances according to instruction from senior technicians,
supervisor and/or equipment service manuals.
Daily, receives assigned work order to complete on
equipment. 
Upon completion of work, enters appropriate information onto
worksheet for submission and filing and/or enters into MRP system for filing
and tracking.
Performs scheduled PMs and visually inspect and test assigned
machines and equipment for proper functionality.
May be required to order requisition parts as needed.
Perform repairs on production machines and/or equipment when
a malfunction has been detected.  May
discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance
workers to diagnose problem and repair the machine.
Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and
related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges,
valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment
Perform machine installations/moves and building maintenance
tasks as needed.
Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and
equipment.
Develop, coordinate and track project list activities.
Ensures that a high level of safety is adhered to always on
and off the production floor.
