IT Support Specialist – Dallas, TX Summary: Seeking a highly motivated, organized individual to serve as an IT Support Specialist in the oversite of our Microsoft\Apple based environment. The successful candidate will provide timely and professional support to internal and external users while contributing to the upgrade, maintenance, and implementation of IT infrastructure and network solutions. Candidate should be well-versed in desk procedures, Windows / MAC Desktop Operating Systems, Active Directory, and network technologies. This position will be responsible for documenting all IT support activities and will need to work closely and efficiently with various internal employees and external vendors. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are a must. Overview: • Provide Helpdesk support regarding the use of Windows and macOS applications, Printers, Scanners, and other Hardware/Software related items. • Applies image(s) to PCs, MacBook, iOS devices, or other hardware. • Supports and maintains user account information including passwords, approved policy changes, and user groups through Microsoft Active Directory. • Documents maintain and upgrades software applications • Maintains an organized work environment. • Terminate and test network cabling and equipment.

Qualifications: • 3 – 5 years of experience in "Tech Support" or a related area • Strong problem-solving skills • Customer service focused individual with prior experience in a helpdesk role with excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with end-users. • Knowledge of Office365 hosted services • Azure, Google & IBM Cloud Service knowledge. • Experience with various Phone platforms: macOS, iOS, Android, Windows • Atlassian brands (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) • LAN/WAN Networking • Knowledge of IT Support best practices and procedures • Ability to analyze, implement and support new technologies and systems • Ability to follow established guidelines to perform the functions of the job • Prior experience working with VMware, Linux, or other IT cloud-based software is a plus Essential physical requirements: • Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined above.
