IT Audit and SOX and HIPAA Compliance Coordinator Sarbanes-Oxley readiness and/or management testing engagements for public companies SSAE 16 and SOC 2/3 reports. HIPPA readiness and compliance Clearly communicate results orally and in writing to the team and company management personnel. CISA and or CISSP preferred Responsibilities: Developing an understanding of company platform structure, security and ERP software, and how information systems are used at the company and within the company’s industryManaging engagements from start to finish, including planning, execution, budgeting and reportingEffectively managing staff providing constructive feedback, guidance, coaching and technical trainingEvaluating process risks, developing tests for key controls, writing audit reports and determining the effectiveness of controlsRecognizing relevant financial statement risks from basic analysis and identifying potential non-compliance to standardsEnsuring conformance with Security and HIPAA and other company policies and conducting necessary tests to ensure complianceRecommending remediation plans to correct problems or non-complianceFollowing up on remediation progress or management responsesStaying abreast of the current IT environment and industry IT trends relevant to company’s business, and using current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and servicesEnsuring integrity, confidentiality and availability of information and resources.Qualified candidates will have:3-5 years of IT Audit experience (Big Four experience is a major plus)A bachelor's or master's degree in Management Information Systems or a related disciplineSolid knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and HIPAA CISA, CISSP or related professional certificationAdvanced interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skillsA dedication to teamworkDemonstrated strength in analytical skillsDemonstrated ability to quickly understand and assimilate business processesProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word and PPTDemonstrated integrity within a professional environmentAuthorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions
