Help Desk/Executive Support – Plano, TX Job PurposeOffer support and technical assistance to the Senior Leadership Team and members of staff who are using software, hardware, or other computer systems and need help completing tasks or troubleshooting problems through diagnostic tests and remote access to their computers and systems. Job DutiesResponding to queries via tickets, chat, email, or phoneProviding technical assistance for questions and problemsResolving problems with business productivity systems (Windows PC, Mac notebooks and desktops), networks, printers, smart phones, and other computer systemsDiagnosing system errors and other issuesFollowing up with customers to ensure full resolution of issuesInstalling or changing software to fix issuesRemotely accessing hardware or software for clients to make changes and fix problemsTraining other staff members on troubleshooting and diagnosing problemsRunning reports to analyze common complaints and problemsMaintaining company intranet, specifically; writing, editing, and revising users help guides/manuals for internal IT systems50% Tier 1/2 support, 25% Executive support, 25% projects support Skills and

QualificationsThree to five years’ experience supporting IT desktop systems. Strong computer skills and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems. Familiarity with both PC and Mac hardware and software. Experience with network systems, troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance. Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with executives and staff members to resolves their issues and have them feel satisfied with the experience. Previous experience administering Microsoft 365 and Google G Suite.Writing and editing skills to aid in creating and maintaining and internal company intranet, and online user help manuals/guides. Education in computer repairs and how to troubleshoot problems (college or technical school).
