Our client in
Haltom City is looking for a talented and results oriented HR
person.  This person is foremost tactical
and then strategic.  Candidates with an
Industrial/Manufacturing/Construction background would be a plus.  Our client has around 100 employees at
corporate and 900 in the field, so they are looking for someone who has both
corporate and field experience. 
 
The position
is responsible for HR support and leadership to management and front-line
employees.  It is an HR generalist role
that engages with leaders to help them develop talent, manage performance,
handle and resolve employee relations issues, shape organizational structure,
promote diversity and inclusion, lead efforts to improve efficiencies, drive
workforce and succession planning efforts and build effective relationships as
a valued business partner.
  
Professional Experience/
Qualifications
7-10 years of progressive experience is required.  The successful candidate will demonstrate the
ability to contribute immediately based on relevant experience.
HR Generalist and HR administration tenure is required. 
Multi-state experience is a must.
In-depth
knowledge of laws and regulations governing health and welfare plans such as
IRS section 125, federal laws relating to COBRA, HIPAA, HCR, ERISA and FMLA.
Five or more years of experience in managing
vendor relationships.
Strong problem solving skills and the ability to
address problems and recommend solutions.
Experience with project planning and management.
Willingness to handle all levels of efforts
within the HR department.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to
various levels of employees from executives to individual contributors, as well
as vendors, consultants, etc.
Ability to successfully manage multiple, complex priorities in a team
environment.
Prior experience in EEO charge handling and investigation
required.
Training, facilitation, and instruction experience is needed for
this role.
Proficiency in the use of computers and various software,
including the Microsoft Office Suite and HR and
HR Administration systems.
 
Education
Bachelor’s degree required. 
Senior
Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR)
certification is an asset.
