Description:Our company is reimagining the intersection of technology and healthcare. We design and build systems that interpret clinical data in real-time and we're building a healthcare social network. Our cloud systems predict the onset of clinical deterioration well before it occurs, and in doing so allow clinicians to provide better and targeted care. We are looking for a Business Analyst with excellent verbal and communication skills, past experience as a product manager and in software development, and current experience in analysis of business processes. You will be an important bridge between engineering and other business units, and our clients. This is a technical BA role and you will be expected to learn the internals of our systems and implementation methodology.
 
Responsibilities:
• Write requirements and specification documents
• Be the voice of the product, collect ideas into roadmaps, prioritize and advance features from ideation to having our engineers build software
• Communicate well, before there is an issue, and often. Be honest and precise.
• Manage the scope, be sensitive to schedule and budget.
• Research new ideas, present alternatives and experimental results.
• Prepare and give presentations to peers, employees, senior management, and external contacts. You are required to have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Abstract and develop data models and GUI.
• Have an appreciation for technical and other project related documentation. You will be chiefly accountable for this important component of our projects. Keep documentation on par with current releases.
• Develop and publish release notes
• Collect and publish KPIs
• Own your tasks, be able to take notes and follow through.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years of experience in product management or BA roles, health care technology experience preferred.
• 3 years of continuously taking additional responsibilities such as business analysis, requirement gathering, or team leadership.
• Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, diagramming, etc.
Added Plus:
•Product Management background. Having worked for and within a product team.
•Hands on coding experience with:
o Knowledge with Data modeling, Data warehousing technologies, and ETL tools.
o Linux scripting.
o Experience with Relational and NoSQL databases.
o Experience with HTML, CSS, UI design.
o Hands on coding experience with developing reports and widgets using Microstrategy.
