Description:

We are looking for an Aerospace or Mechanical Engineer to join theteam in the design, test and development of cutting edge UAV technology
 
Skills and Experience
 
Required
oExperience with aircraft fabrication, assembly, or modification
oExperience in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD
oStrong background in MATLAB
oKnowledge of the aircraft design process, aircraft flight dynamicsand control systems
oExperience with drawing setup, scale usage, dimensioning, labelingand plotting within a
2D and 3D environment
oComposite design and tooling
oAbility to interact professionally with internal and externalcustomers, subcontractors,
and suppliers
oAbility to work independently with minimal supervision
oAn inventive aptitude, balanced with discipline and attention todetail
oAbility to coordinate the release and update of engineering designdocumentation, bills of
materials, manufacturingprocedures, product acceptance test procedures, and production
tooling and test equipment.
 
Desired
oBackground in 3D printing
oExperience with LabVIEW
oExperience with FEM modeling of loads and structural elements
oExperience with CFD modeling of aircraft and subsystems
oExperience designing tooling and fixtures for carbon compositeassembly manufacturing
oExperience with production manufacturing techniques for aerospace
oExperience generating production documentation based on designspersonally overseen
oUnderstanding of GD&T
oExperience in design and fabrication of mechanical/mechatroniccomponents
oEffectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
oExceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communicationskills
oStrong customer service, quality, and team orientation
 

Qualifications
 
Bachelor degree inMechanical or Aerospace Engineering
0-5 years of workexperience in aerospace or related field
